Development of a Novel Biosensor for Point-of-Care Detection of Infectious Diseases
Author(s): Maria Lopez*
The rapid and accurate detection of infectious diseases is crucial for timely diagnosis and effective management. Point-Of-Care Testing (POCT)
offers a promising approach for on-site and real-time detection, enabling immediate interventions and reducing the burden on healthcare systems.
In this study, we present the development of a novel biosensor for point-of-care detection of infectious diseases. The biosensor utilizes innovative
nanotechnology-based platforms coupled with specific biomolecular recognition elements to detect pathogen-specific markers. We discuss the
design, fabrication, and optimization of the biosensor, along with its performance characteristics in terms of sensitivity, specificity, and detection
limit. Furthermore, we evaluate the biosensor's feasibility for use in resource-limited settings and discuss its potential impact on improving global .. Read More»
