Exploring the Role of Microbiome in Human Health and Disease: A Bioanalytical Approach
Author(s): Maria Lopez*
The human microbiome, comprising trillions of microorganisms residing in and on the human body, has emerged as a key determinant of human
health and disease. In this review, we explore the role of the microbiome in human health and disease using a bioanalytical approach. We discuss
the methodologies and techniques employed in microbiome analysis, including high-throughput sequencing, metagenomics, and metabolomics.
We highlight the impact of the microbiome on various physiological processes, such as immune system modulation, nutrient metabolism, and
drug metabolism. Furthermore, we explore the association between dysbiosis of the microbiome and various diseases, including inflammatory
bowel disease, obesity, and autoimmune disorders. We also address the potential of modulating the microbiome as a therapeutic approach. By
integrating bioanalytical approaches, we.. Read More»
