    The Influence of Physiotherapy on Paralysis Patients

    Paralysis is a medical condition characterized by the loss of muscle function and/or sensation in a part of the body. It can be temporary or permanent and it may affect a specific area or the entire body, depending on the underlying cause. There are various causes of paralysis, including traumatic injuries to the spinal cord or brain, nerve damage, strokes, infections, autoimmune conditions and congenital disorders. Paralysis can result in significant physical limitations and impact a person's ability to move, perform daily activities and live an independent life. Paralysis can be classified into different types, such as monoplegia (affecting only one limb), hemiplegia (affecting one side of the body), paraplegia (affecting the lower half of the body) and quadriplegia or tetraplegia (affecting all four limbs and often the torso).
