  Viral respiratory infections pose a significant health burden among pediatric populations worldwide. This comprehensive review aims to explore the epidemiology of viral respiratory infections in children, including the prevalence, seasonality, viral pathogens involved and associated risk factors. By understanding the patterns and impact of these infections, healthcare providers and public health officials can develop effective strategies for prevention, diagnosis and management, ultimately improving the health outcomes of pediatric patients.
