  Photocatalytic Degradation of Organic Dyes Using Nanocrystalline Mg-Co Ferrite

  The semiconducting Mg-Co ferrite nanoparticles prepared via controlled co-precipitation method. The X-ray diffraction and Transmission Electron Microscopy (SAED patterns) techniques were employed to study phase, composition and the average particle size of the resulting material. The photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange and Congo red dye were performed under illumination of visible light (Philips 250 Watt) as source of photons.
