  Meta-analysis of Metformin Absorption and Pharmacokinetics in Nine Species

  Meta-analysis is a powerful tool for synthesizing data across multiple studies to provide a comprehensive understanding of a particular topic. In this study, we conducted a meta-analysis of metformin absorption and pharmacokinetics across nine different species. Metformin is a widely prescribed drug for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, but its pharmacokinetics can vary significantly between species, influencing its efficacy and safety profile. By systematically reviewing and analyzing data from published studies, we aimed to elucidate species-specific differences in metformin absorption and pharmacokinetics.
