    Author(s): Sean Nilsen*

Aedes aegypti, commonly known as the yellow fever mosquito, is a primary vector of several arboviruses, including dengue, Zika, chikungunya, and yellow fever. This mosquito species is of significant public health concern, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions.
