  Background: Personality trait is a complex trait of an individual, which has been hypothesized to have link with diseases. It is believed that understanding personality traits of an individual can assist to prevent the diseases. Therefore, scientists are trying to explore potential factors that can predict the personality traits of an individual. Blood groups could be a potential predictor because some researchers have found a linkage between ABO genes and genes related to the development of personality traits in someone.
