    Community resilience in the context of environmental disasters is paramount for sustainable development and human well-being. This article explores the key lessons learned from past environmental disasters and examines the strategies that communities have employed to enhance their resilience. Drawing from case studies and academic research, it identifies factors that contribute to resilience, such as social cohesion, adaptive governance and the integration of traditional knowledge with modern science.
