Investigating the Bonding Performance of Sustainable Steel-GFRP Composite Bars in Reinforced Concrete Structures
    Author(s): Su Zeng*

In modern civil engineering, the quest for sustainable construction materials has led to the exploration of alternative reinforcements in concrete structures. One such promising solution is the integration of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars with steel bars to form composite bars. This study delves into investigating the bonding performance of sustainable steel-GFRP composite bars in reinforced concrete structures. Through a comprehensive experimental program and analytical assessment, this research aims to evaluate the bond strength, durability, and structural performance of these composite bars. The findings are crucial for advancing the understanding of sustainable construction practices and promoting the adoption of eco-friendly materials in the construction industry... Read More»
