Healthcare-associated infections are a significant source of morbidity and mortality in paediatric patients. Anesthesiologists specialise in the
prevention of infections. Practicing good hand hygiene and keeping the anaesthetic workspace clean help to lower infection incidence in surgical
patients. Standard protocols exist for the insertion and handling of central lines, arterial lines, and regional operations, which should be strictly
adhered to in order to prevent infection issues. Infections at the surgical site can be prevented by regulating temperature and giving medications
