Tick-borne Encephalitis (TBE) is a significant viral infection transmitted by tick bites, leading to severe neurological complications. Co-infections with other tick-borne pathogens, such as Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease, complicate the clinical presentation and management of TBE.
