    Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a structured, time-limited therapy that focuses on identifying and challenging distorted cognitions and beliefs while promoting healthier behavioural patterns. The cognitive component addresses the thoughts and beliefs contributing to anxiety, while the behavioural component focuses on exposure to anxiety-provoking situations and developing coping skills.
