    Psychosocial oncology plays a critical role in addressing the psychological, social, and emotional needs of individuals facing a cancer diagnosis and treatment. As the field continues to evolve, the integration of evidence-based practice (EBP) becomes increasingly important to ensure the delivery of effective and quality care. This article explores the perspectives of Canadian service directors on the implementation and challenges of evidence-based practice in psychosocial oncology. Evidence-based practice refers to the integration of the best available research evidence with clinical expertise and patient values and preferences.
