leading cause of cancer-related deaths. The prevalence of HCC varies by ethnicity, with the majority of patients suffering from chronic infections
of the hepatitis B and C viruses, metabolic-dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease, or alcoholic steatohepatitis. MAFLD, formerly known as
