Dr. A. Ayeshamariam (born on 7th June 1967, Ramnad District, Tamilnadu, India) is the Head of the Research Department of Physics, Khadir Mohideen College, Adirampattinam. Received M.Sc (Physics) and Ph.D (Nanoscience) from Alagappa University, Karaikudi. She has completed two Minor research projects sponsored by UGC, Hyderabad and one short term research project sponsored by INUP, IIT, Bombay. Currently, she is the Editor-In-Chief of the newly introduced journal namely “Journal of Functional Ideal Materials” (jfim.net). Her main research interests are: Materials Science, Study of Nano-Oxide semiconductors, Thin film preparation techniques, Materials characterization, Environmental water and air pollution control, thin film coatings for bio-medical application and solar energy devices/systems. She is co-author of 73 papers. She presented papers/attended and her students presented/attended about 67 International/National conferences. As the member of Ph.D. Evaluation committee/Viva-voce, she is associated with Madurai Kamarajar University, Madurai, Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirappalli and Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. She is Life Fellow member of scientific societies in India including Society for Advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology (SAEST), The society for advancement of Electrochemical Science and Technology CSIR, CECRI campus, Karaikudi, Materials Research Society of India MRSI, Thiruchirappalli Chapter and Indian Physics Association of Bengaluru. She is guiding 8 Ph.D projects for M.Tech., M.sc. and M.Phil., Students from Physics, Nanoscience. Recently only one patent, copyrights are there to her credit. Till now delivered 15 invited talks on nano materials, its characterization and applications inside India. She has organized, in various capacities, sponsored two International Conferences, one IASc Workshop, Bangalore. She is presently involved in many projects, along with team of Scientists, funded by Ministry of Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) on Dye sensitized solar cells.
