Research Interest

Atopic dermatitis both in its immunology and genetics but always putting in mind the reflections of these on the clinical picture.He is also interested in the device of indices of disease activity and disease severity (activity refers to the last one week while severity refers to the whole time line of the disease). His work included trying to establishment of correlations between all the immunological disturbances in atopic dermatitis with the clinical severity of the disease and to see if these disturbed parameters are separately developed as part of the disease or are just a part of the inheritance pattern of atopy and also trying to establish the inheritance pattern of the disease. I also had to device clinical indices for atopic dermatitis to be able to correlate it to the immunological parameters of the disease.
