Biography

Ahmed Shaban obtained his BSc in Industrial Engineering in 2006 with Honor degree from the Industrial Engineering Department at Fayoum University. He obtained his MSc degree in Mechanical Design and Production (Industrial Engineering Specialty) in 2010 from the Mechanical Design and Production Department at Cairo University. He received a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2014.
After his graduation in 2006, he was appointed as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Industrial Engineering Department at Fayoum University. Since May 2010, he has obtained his second academic position to work as Assistant Lecturer and Researcher in the same department. He assisted in the teaching of a number of courses: Quality Planning and Control, Operations Research, Project Management, Value Engineering, Production Planning and Control, Operations Management, Productivity Analysis and Improvement, Feasibility Study, Engineering Economy, and Industrial Management. He received a PhD fellowship from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2010. Since then, he has been on-leave to obtain the PhD degree and to conduct postdoctoral research in Industrial Engineering at Sapienza University.
