Alin Laurentiu Tatu

Biography

Dr. Alin Laurentiu Tatu is a chartered dermatologist and has a doctorate from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy,Bucharest. He has over twenty years experience of dermatology, dermatology research and teaching. This includes experience of dermoscopy, nevi,atopic dermatitis,psoriasis,skin microbiome,rosacea,topical steroid facial dermatitis,cutaneous fungal diseases. In addition, he is experienced in investigation. He is a tutor with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy , University of Galati (Dunarea de Jos University),Romania for the university’s pharmaceutical cosmetology and dermatology course for medical students.He is a laser safety officer,a malpraxis prevention expert in medicine and national expert in Dermatology. In addition, he serves on several national and international committees relating to dermatology . He is a board director of the International Society of Dermatology; and is a member of several editorials boards for scientific journals. He is a member of the Profesional and Scientific Comittee of Romanian College of Physicians Galati County.He acted as a consultant, expert witness and technical advisor to medical device industry and pharmaceutical companies. He has also undertaken several technical writing and review projects. He has written over twenty, peer reviewed paper papers published in Thomson Reuters or other indexed journals and technical articles relating to dermatology. In addition, he has written several books He has also delivered papers to over twenty five international conferences.
