Biography

Dr. Allison N. Sinanan is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey. She also currently serves as the coordinator for the BSW program. Dr. Sinanan’s scholarly interests include examining child maltreatment recurrence and oppression and discrimination of minority populations. Dr. Sinanan teaches a range of undergraduate courses in the social work program, including: Introduction to Social, Race; Ethnicity and Diversity; and Theory and Methods Practice Courses. She also teaches a general studies course titled "Effects of Media on Children”. Dr. Sinanan received her Ph.D. from Fordham University and an MSW from Adelphi University.
