Dr. Anna Mika has more than 10 years experience in health science and is the author of over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications and conference papers.
Following a Ph.D. in rehabilitation of patients with osteoporosis she took up a position as an Assistant Professor at the University School of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland where she combine teaching activities with experimental researches in the field of kinesiology, biomechanics, sports medicine, rehabilitation medicine and exercise science.
Her research interest is motion analysis, surface electromyography and human gait and balance analysis. Anna Mika lectures “Objective methods of musculoskeletal system evaluation in physiotherapy” at the university. In the 2003 she conducted research on recovery strategies after fatiguing exercise at the Exercise Science Department of Syracuse University, New York as a visiting scientist.
