Biography

Artur Sowa earned a PhD at The City University of New York in 1995. Afterward he held postdoctoral positions at The City University of New York and Yale University. Subsequently he pursued applied mathematics research and high-tech entrepreneurship in a small business setting. He returned to the academe in 2007, and is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Saskatchewan.

Research Interest

1. Complex system modelling with applications to Quantum Physics, Nanoelectronics, or Econophysics
2. Operator equations, nonlinear eigenvalue problems, nonlinear oscillators and memristance
3. Interfaces of the Analytic Number Theory with Signal Analysis as well as with Quantum Mechanics
