Arturo Rubalcava obtained his BA in economics from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Mexico), his MBA from SUNY at Buffalo (U.S.) and his Ph.D. at Concordia University (Canada). He has taught in the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, in the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, in HEC (Montreal), and in the joint MBA program of the Universite du Quebec a Montreal (UQAM) with universities in Ecuador and Peru. He joined the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Regina in 2004. He has published in peer reviewed finance journals and presented papers in various academic conferences in Canada and overseas.
His research interests concentrate mainly in empirical work on equity cross-listings, seasoned equity offerings, earnings announcements, ownership structure, capital structure and cost of capital.
