Biography

Assoc. Prof.ARVIND JAYANT, M.Tech.(IITD), PhD(S), MIIE(USA) Mechanical Engineering Department, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Deemed University (Est.by MHRD, Govt. of India),Longowal, Dist. Sangrur, Punjab - 148106.He is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Head, Department of Disabilities Studies, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Deemed University (A Govt. of India University), Longowal, Punjab, India. He is an alumni of Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi and IIT, Delhi. His research area includes Industrial Engineering & Management, Supply Chain Management, Reverse Logistics, CIM, ERP, TQM, Modeling & Simulation of Manufacturing System. He has been completed 03 sponsored research projects of Rs. 90 Lacs funded by MHRD,CSIR and MSJE, New Delhi. He has been published more than 125 research papers in International/national journals and proceedings of International and national conferences. He is reviewer of IEEE Transaction on Engineering Management, IJAHP (USA), IJSCM (UK), African Journal of Business Management, International Journal of Science & Research, Issues in Business Management and Economics and many reputed International journals of Elsevier, Inderscience, and Springer publications. Arvind Jayant has been chosen for inclusion in MARQUIS Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, 14th Edition, 2013–2014. He visited USA, Japan, England, Spain, Germany, Nepal and Singapore to disseminate his research among academic fraternity and interact with faculty. He has guided more than 50 students for their final year PG and UG Industry oriented projects. He is the members of different professional bodies like ISTE, SMIIE, ISME, IWS, IIE (USA), IACSIT (Singapore), IAEngg. (Hongkong) etc.
