Biography

Is currently associate professor and researcher at the Department of Informatics and Applied Mathematics (DIMAp) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), mainly working in the computer network field. He got his Ph.D. at the University of Coimbra (Portugal, 2008), his M.Sc. at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil, 2001) and B.Sc. at the University of Amazon (Brazil, 1996). He made his first post-doc at the Instituto de Telecomunicações de Aveiro (Portugal, 2008-2009). He is regular IEEE member, and his publications include authoring/co-authoring of papers and patents in the computer network field. He regularly serves as reviewer of several conferences and journals/magazines.
