Biography

Benjamin J Daniel is an Assistant Director- UTHSCSA Flow Cytometry Core – San Antonio,TX 2010 – Present Research Instructor -  UTHSCSA, Department of Medicine – San Antonio, TX Direct and Manage the Flow Cytometry core facility. Manage Day to day operation of flow cytometry core. Train personnel on use of the instruments and data analysis. Manage core accounting to ensure we are within our operating budget. Consult with users about design and execution of experiments pertaining to flow cytometry. Responsible to strategically plan and implement core goals in regards to, finance, equipment, core personnel. Write annual progress reports. Seek and execute external funding opportunities for new core instruments. Keep core website updated with technologies and flow cytometry methods. Implement billing procedures to ensure that the core is properly paid for services rendered. Operate core machines (FACSAria and FACSCalibur) as needed.
