Biography

She is a professor of medical biology and She have been the head of Department of Genetics (University of Szczecin, Poland) since 1997. She have lectures and seminars for students of Biology, Environmental Protection and Biotechnology. She have been the member of Editorial Board of Journal of Infectious Diseases and Immunity, of Annals of Agricultural and Environmental Medicine, member of honour of Associazione Nazionale di Parasstologia Medica (Italy) since 1995, member of Polish Genetic Society since 1979 and member of Polish Parasitologic Society since 1979. She is the author of one monograph and the author or co-author of more than 120 science publications. Scientific research work concerns molecular genetics, molecular epidemiology and phylogenesis of pathogens transmitted by ticks as well as genetic analysis of structure and affinity of species of Cryptosporidium and Giardia. New research specializations: Estimate of usefulness of highly specific technique of micromatrix RLB (Reverse Line Blot) to differentiate pathogenic protozoan species isolated from water reservoirs.
