Bruno Sarmento, Pharm. D., PhD, is a Research Scientist in the Pharmaceutical Technology Department of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Porto University and Assistant Professor of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of the Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde-Norte.
He received his PhD degree in 2007 from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Porto and was a visiting PhD student at the Chemical Engineering Department, Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada, at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark and Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
