Dr. Cevat Erisken’s current research focuses on the design and fabrication of nanotechnology based functional biomaterials as well as controlled release systems to be utilized for orthopedic tissue-tissue interface regeneration. His area of interest also includes regenerative engineering through stem/progenitor cell homing. He received his doctoral degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ. He conducted research in Biomaterials and Interface Tissue Engineering Laboratory as a post-doctoral research scientist, and in Center for Craniofacial Regeneration as a Research Assistant Professor at Columbia University, NY. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Turkey.
