Dr. Chad Gordon is currently an Assistant in Surgery within the Division of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston Massachusetts. After completing his BA in Fine Arts at The George Washington University in Washington DC 1997, he earned his DO degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia in 2002. His accomplishments include being a Member of the “Nation’s First Face Transplant Surgical Team” 1 of 8 surgeons in 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic and his distinguished receipt of “The Bruce Hubbard Stewart Memorial Award for Humanistic Medicine Cleveland Clinic”. He is an Editorial board member for Annals of Plastic Surgery Microsurgery and Journal of Tissue Science Engineering; is a consultant reviewer for the American Journal of Transplantation served as coeditor for the textbook entitled Transplantation of Composite Tissue Allografts; and has coauthored 27 peerreviewed journal publications and 10 textbook chapters.
