Dr. Charles E. Feigley has a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, an MS in Environmental Sciences, and a BS in Chemical Engineering. He is a Professor of Environmental Health Sciences at the Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina, where he was Department Chair for nine years. Dr. Feigleys research focuses on the assessment and control of environmental exposures to hazardous materials, primarily airborne chemicals and biological agents. He served nine years on the National Academy of Sciences Committee on Toxicology, providing probono consultation on toxicology to EPA, NASA, DoD, and other Federal agencies. He also served on the National Institutes of Health Occupational Safety and Health Study Section and has led numerous research efforts supported by contracts and grants.
