Dr. Chesahna Kindred is a bilingual dermatologist who emphasizes her practice on patients with “skin of color.” This passion was garnered from her residency and fellowship at Howard University. She began her studies at the University of Southern California where she received her Bachelors of Science. Dr. Kindred then relocated to Ohio, earning her MD/MBA at the University of Cincinnati. While currently practicing medicine, she hosts workshops for hair stylists on the various forms of hair loss and scalp disease. Dr. Kindred has several publications concerning an array of dermatologic topics. Her publications include but are not limited to hypopigmented mycosis fungoides, ethnic skin, and hair loss (alopecia). Accompanying her scholarly articles, Dr. Kindred regularly presents at dermatology meetings.
