K. K. Chong received B.Sc. (Hons) first class degree majoring in Physics from University of Malaya in 1998 and Ph.D (Optical Engineering) degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2002. From 2001-2004, he joined Malaysia University of Science and Technology (A collaborative program with Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT, USA) as Research Associate in Institute of Energy and Environment. Currently, he is Associate Professor in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman and his research interests include Concentrating Solar Power, Sun-Tracking System, Heliostat control and automation system, Sensors, High Concentrator Photovoltaic System, Photovoltaic System, Non-Imaging Focusing Technology and Solar Thermal System.
