Clare Lewis PT, DPT, MSPT, MPH, PsyD, MTC, FAAOMPT is a full professor in the physical therapy program at California State University, Sacramento. She is a certified manual therapist from the Stanley Paris Institute and a full Fellow of the American Academy of Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapists. She has taught primarily in the orthopedic sections and psychosocial aspects of disability, but has also taught several other courses in the physical therapy curriculum. Clare practices at Remedy Rehab doing orthopedic outpatient manual therapy. She has two doctorates in psychology; both clinical and rganizational psychology. In her free time Clare enjoys traveling, hiking and kayaking. She also volunteers at the suicide hotline and is a mentor in the Guardian Scholars program a foster care program for young adults from the foster care system attending college.
