Biography

Dr. Dalia Fekry Gamal Ibrahim was born in Cairo, Egypt. She got awarded her Bachelors degree in Applied Arts, Textile printing, dyeing and finishing department in 1995, and completed her Masters in 1999. She got awarded her PhD in textile printing in 2003 from faculty of Applied Arts, on the bases of a joint research (supervision) from North Carolina State University, Textile College. Now a days she is working as an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. Her fields of research are Textile Wet Processing, Pretreatment, Dyeing and Printing Textiles.

Research Interest

Textile coloration (dyeing and printing), Enzymatic treatment of different textiles.
