Deepak Nagrath received his PhD degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering (Aug 1997-May 2003) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York. He was Research Associate, (January 2007- June 2009) with Center for Engineering in Medicine Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital/Shriners Burns Hospital and Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Aug 2003- December 2006) with Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital/Shriners Burns Hospital. Dr. Deepak Nagrath then had successive appointments as Assistant (June 2009 – present) Professor at Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Rice University. His awards include DOD Exploration - Hypothesis Development Award(2010), IBB Hamill Innovators Award (2010).
