Biography

Dr. Dilhan M Kalyon is a Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a Founding Director of Highly Filled Materials Institute at Stevens. He received an honorary M Eng degree from Stevens honoris causa. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in Canada. He received the Thomas Baron Award of AICHE and International Research Award of SPE. He is a Fellow of AICHE and SPE. He is serving as an Editorial Board Member of five journals.

Research Interest

His research focuses on Fabrication of functionally graded tissue engineering scaffolds, Experimental elucidation of cell/scaffold interactions, Rheology and processing of complex fluids especially viscoplastic fluids and Mathematical modeling.
