Dr. Dinender Singla received his BSc and MSc degrees from Punjabi University Patiala India and his PhD from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandrigarh India the last in 1996. He held postdoctoral fellowship positions in the Department of Physiology University of Manitoba the Faculty of Medicine University of Ottawa and at the University of Alberta all in Canada from 1996-2002. He was a Research Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison from 2002-2004 and then an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Vermont from 2004-2007. He was appointed as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida in July 2007. He at present maintains R01 and R21 grants from the NIH. He is an author or coauthor in multiple peer reviewed papers. He is a reviewer for NIH and AHA study sections and also a manuscript reviewer of a number of major journals. He is functioning as member of diverse scientific journals.
