Biography

Dr. Concetta Federico is researcher and teaching in Genetics at the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Catania, Italy. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree, summa cum laude, in Biological Sciences, at the University of Catania. Then she obtained the MD in Medical Genetics and attained the PhD degree in Evolutionary biology at the University of Catania. Her general area of research is focused on the Genome organization of Vertebrates, Chromosome and interphases nucleus organization, Human genetic diseases and Environmental mutagenesis studies. She is co-author of many papers (about 50), which appeared on international scientific journals. Her ORCID ref. is 0000-0002-0160-9040 and Scopus identifier ID: 7004099069.
