Dr. De Benedetto Marco Alberto is an Assistant Professor in Public Economics (SECS/P03) at the Department of Economics at the University of Messina since December 2014. He holds a Bachelor and Master degree in Economics and Finance (University of Calabria), an M.Sc. in Finance and Econometrics (Queen Mary University of London), a PhD in Applied Economics (University of Calabria), and a PhD in Political Economy at Birkbeck College (London). His main research focuses on the determinants of electoral participation, on the efficiency of the Public Administration as well as on the economic effects of policies implemented by government.
