He graduated and obtained his PhD in Economics and Business Science in 2003 from the University of Valencia, where he is currently a lecturer at the Department of Financial and Actuarial Economics. Master´s degree in economic research From UNED in 2016. He has been a general advisor of the third largest savings bank in Spain and has worked in both the private and public sectors.
His research interests lie in financial systems and banking and his main articles have been published in the leading professional and scientific international journals. It is also a reviewer for prestigious journals as Journal of International Money and Finance. Management Decision. European Journal of Operational Research. Applied Economics. and Journal of Applied Statistics.
