Dr. Zhang Quan

Dr. Zhang Quan has been gotten professor position since 2006 at College of Civil Engineering, Hunan University, China. He got the Ph.D at 2002 and studied as the post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Tokyo from 2003 to 2005. He also visited the Colorado University at Boulder as visiting scholar at 2013 for one year. • Dr. Zhang serviced in several academic organizations, including the editorial board for Journal of Energy and Power Engineering and vice-chief editor of the Civil Engineering(in chinese), and, Committee Member of China Data Center Cooling Technology. He was also chairman of the APEC conference on Low Carbon Town and Physical Energy Storage, 2013. Dr. Zhang kept on focusing on energy saving technology and equipment and system development for high thermal intensity cooling, especially, such as the Micro-channel Heat Pipe and the air-conditioner with Phase Change Material. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers and got over 20 patents and software copyrights. He has been in charge of 20 Building Energy Saving Designs. He was awarded the first and second prize for technological and scientific advance by the Hunan Province and Ministry of Education, China.
