Biography

Prof. Dr. Lóránt Dénes Dávid is a distinguished Hungarian academic with extensive expertise in Earth Sciences, Geography, and Tourism. Born on March 6, 1968, in Heves, Hungary, he holds multiple degrees including a PhD in Earth Sciences/Geography from the University of Debrecen and habilitations in Management and Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, and Regional Sciences. His career spans several prestigious institutions globally, including Eötvös Loránd University and Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. Prof. Dávid's research focuses on tourism, hospitality, environmental management, and regional development. He has published widely and serves on editorial boards for prominent journals such as Sustainability and GeoJournal of Tourism and Geosites. His contributions to academia are complemented by his roles as a visiting professor at universities in Poland, Romania, Kazakhstan, and beyond. An active member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Prof. Dávid is recognized for his interdisciplinary approach and dedication to advancing sustainable tourism and regional studies.
