Biography

Dr. Erica Forzani has received his PhD in Chemistry in Cordoba National University, Argentina during the period of 1994-1999. Currently she is working as Assistant Professor in the School for Engineering of Matter Transport and Energy, Ira A Fulton Schools of Engineering and in the Center for Bioelectronics and Biosensors Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University (ASU). She has authored over 40 research articles and book chapters and 7 patent publications She is a fellow of the American Chemical Society. She received the Young Scientist Award from Rotary in 2005 and the Innovator of Tomorrow Award from Arizona Technology Enterprises at ASU in 2007. In addition she has served as guest editor of Nanotechnology Journal and as reviewers of several high impact international journals and funding institutions.

Research Interest

Novel molecular sensor devices; biomedical, environmental health and security applications; integration of sensors at system level; wireless chemical sensor systems.
