Biography

Dr. F. Nawaz Khan received his Ph.D from Central Electrochemical Research Institute, University of Madras, Chennai. He perfromed his Post Doctoral Fellowship in the Department of Chemistry,Tohoku University, Japan. He is working as a Research Professor at KBSI, South Korea from 2010.

Research Interest

1. Organic synthetic methodologies
2. Different types of reactions involving -simple catalysis-reduction, oxidation, cyclisation, condensation, moisture sensitive Grignard reactions, allylations,N-arylations, periodate oxidations, sodium borohydride reactions, cyclization, Diels alder reaction, Phase transfer reactions, Friedlander reaction, Pfzinger reaction, Fischer indole réaction, Heck reactions, Buckwald coupling etc. 3. Handling various instruments like NMR, UV, IR spectroscopy and also Gas chromatography and GC-Mass spectroscopy and interpretation of various reactions products and mechanism of reactions.
