Dr. Farid Zand is working as an Assosciate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine in Nemazee Hospital, Iran. He has done his MD in the year 1994 in Shiraj University of Medical Sciences. He served as a Director of Adult Critical Care unit, Nemazee hospital. Currently he is working as an Instructor in FCCS (Fundamental Critical Care Hospital). He has more than 20 publications and he also participated in many international conferences. He is a member of European Society of Anesthesiologists 2002-2006. He acts as an Editorial Board member and Reviewer as well.
His research interests focus on critical Care medicine: airway management, Acute kidney injury in critical care, Sedation, analgesia and delirium in ICU, New modes of ventilation in critically ill patients.
