Dr. Gaylon E. (Gene) Murray, a Kentucky native, joined the Grambling State University faculty in 1992. The professor of mass communication has degrees from Murray State University, Ohio University and Texas A&M. A former military public affairs officer, he worked as a copy editor and reporter for weekly, daily and military newspapers.
