Geetika Chakravarty, is an Instructor in the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine, Tulane Health Science Center, Tulane University, New Orleans. Geetika Chakravarty, is an Instructor in the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medicine, Tulane Health Science Center, Tulane University, New Orleans. Her research focuses on cancer biomarker discovery. Her interests span several fields including signaling through transcription factors, growth factor receptors and oncogenes in cancer progression, as well as development of preclinical mouse models for molecular therapeutic testing. She received her PhD in Life Sciences from Tata Memorial Hospital, University of Mumbai, India and postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, USA. She is an active member of the American Association for Cancer Research, Society of Experimental Biology and Medicine and the American society of pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. She has several first & corresponding author publications. She is currently serving as an editorial board member of Clinical Trial Magnifier, section editor of a yearly community publication and reviewer of three journals.
