"Giuseppe Caputo (Palermo, Italy - 1971) is research associate of chemical engineering at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Salerno.He is member of the Italian “National University Council” (CUN). He is member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and of the International Society for the Advancement of Supercritical Fluids (ISASF). He is author of 20 papers published on referred international journals and more than 20 presentation at international conferences. His papers have received 214 citations with h-index=9 (data at September 2011). He was appointed as a referee in the peer reviewing process of several International Journals of Chemical Engineering His research activity consists in the industrial application of Supercritical Fluids technology. His current areas of interest include High Pressure Processes, Spray Technology, Supercritical Fluid Extraction, the generation of micro and nanoparticles of pharmaceuticals, catalysts and polymers and adsorption of aerogels.
