Dr. Gordon Rausser is an internationally recognized economist who has combined active careers in academia, business, and public policy. He has received 16 major awards for original research and distinguished service. Since 1986, Dr. Rausser has been the Robert Gordon Sproul Distinguished Professor at the University of California, Berkeley. In an article published in 2010, Dr. Rausser describes his passion for resource economics.1 Currently, Dr. Rausser also holds the position of Senior Consultant and Chairman of the Board of Directors at OnPoint Analytics, a company he co-founded in 2004. As one of OnPoint’s highly regarded experts, Dr. Rausser performs statistical, economic, and financial analysis for a broad array of litigation and business matters. Dr. Rausser has been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Statistical Association, and the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association. He has also held faculty positions in Economics and Statistics at the University of Chicago, Harvard University, Iowa State University and UC Davis.
